The updates...
- He talks -- Harrison likes to squeal outside (we've told him forever that squealing is an outside sound, not an inside sound, so when we go outside, we really let loose with the squealing). Now when Harrison "gweals" outside, Hewitt answers him! Then he looks at me and at Harrison shyly like, "Was that what I was supposed to do?" and then does a huge smile when one of us answers him with a "Yes!" squeal. Harrison likes to say, "Mama -- He gwealed!" Sometimes if Hewitt gets too loud in the car, Harrison asks me to put Hewitt's window down so he can squeal out the window. :) ("Mama -- Put Hewitt window down, please. He gweal.")
- He stands -- I've caught him standing hands-free a few times, but only when he doesn't realize it. For example, if he's standing at his toy box doing an important project with some stuff up on the lid, he might have a thing in each hand and not realize that that means that he doesn't have a hand on the toy box anymore. Oh, my!
- He walks -- Constantly, but not by himself yet. Everything is a walker -- the stepstools, the Lego boxes, the push toys, the old man across the street's walker (seriously -- we went to take dinner to our neighbor and Hewitt was all about the man's walker). Our neighbor said that Hewitt needed a baby-sized old man walker.
