Harrison Walks!

It's on.

Harrison Has Taken 3.5 Steps!

That's right -- the buddy is knocking on the door of walking and is about to let himself through. :) Last night he did two tiny steps from Ms. Freida to me and this morning he did one and a half steps (well, one step and one drag) from Chris to me. I'm sure it's the toys that I'm holding that he's walking to and not just my open and loving arms. :)

We'll see about catching it on video if he keeps it up.

Hard to believe our little baby is already a year old. He has three words now -- "dog," "duck," and "book." And sometimes "thank you" but not often enough to count it yet. Might not have been his best choice of first words since he can't quite make D or B sounds, so we hear "gog," "guck," and "gook." We had family and friends over for his surprise birthday party on May 16, which he seemed to really enjoy!

Harrison turned 1 today! We threw him a surprise birthday party, and he had a great time. We cannot believe our little baby is already a year old -- we're so lucky to have him!

Went to Dalton to visit Chris' family and hosted his Great Granny here for a few days. He's getting really good at eating now (and at helping us feed him) -- also super-fast with his push toys, but not walking on his own yet. Can't believe he'll be a year in just a few weeks!

Our sweet little baby is now a sweet little boy. He stands for a second or two at a time but isn't showing any signs of walking by himself yet (still "cruising" along walls and behind toys with wheels). Glad to get some warm weather now so the little guy can sunbathe and splash around in the pool again!

He's now been on the outside as long as he was on the inside. The little guy walks behind toys sometimes now and has 3.5 teeth (2 definites on the bottom, 1 definite on the top, and one "is that a tooth?" on the top). Favorite trick : Flushing the toilet. :)
