Christmas!

Christmas Eve and Christmas morning in Atlanta with Rachel's family...

A buddy-sized rocking chair -- sweet :)

A Christmas Eve present -- His first backpack! Thank you, Great Grandma Gloria!

Christmas morning. Ho ho ho!

A wooden train from Grandmom and Grandpop -- woo woo!

A mailbox from Mama and Dada -- so now he can check the mail as much as he wants, no matter the weather...

Then Christmas afternoon/night and the next day in Dalton with Chris' family...

All set to plunder some other baby's loot with his viking hat from Aunt Katy

Oh, yes -- a baby-sized sleeping bag. He knew just what to do with it!

Opening his gift from Great Grandmama Nell...

Putting money is his new piggy bank!

Fish net stockings!

Harrison, honey, those shoes are not for you.

DadaMamaAirsun

Chris and I were hungry early tonight, so we ate dinner with Harrison. The three of us were all chatting (Chris and I with each other and Harrison with his noodles), and suddenly Harrison snuck in a quick "DadaMamaAirsun." I said, "What?! What did you just say?!" but he wouldn't say it again.

First time he's said his own name!!

Christmas at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens

Mama, Dada, and Harrison went to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to see the trains today! Started off watching a puppet show about something (we never figured out what...), then rode the choo choo (pumping his little arm up and down to make the choo choo signal), then went inside to watch the little trains run around the track. Oh, what fun it was to watch on a one-horse open sleigh -- HEY!

Harrison showing his appreciation for the fine arts

Here it comes!!

Chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga, chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga, chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga, WOO WOO!

Fascinating

Merry Christmas!

Shoes

Harrison just loves shoes -- his shoes, Dada's shoes, Mama's shoes, his classmates' shoes, any visitor to our house's shoes... This is only a sampling of shoe photos -- there are tons more to come once I have my camera handy for his shoe fittings.

Whatcha cookin', buddy?

Doing some athletics in Dada's shoes.

And now in Mama's shoes.

Looking very dapper in another pair of Mama's shoes.

Trying out Dada's cool shoes.

And finally Mama's boots (Chris, forgive me!)

Bye Bye to "Dye Dye"

Harrison has mastered the "b" sound, so now he wishes people "bye bye" instead of "dye dye," which is much politer. I'm really going to miss his "dye dyes!" He's also reclaimed blowing kisses lately, so ask him to blow you a kiss when you see him.

And tonight he picked up a hot noodle and told me that it was "hot" instead of (h)"o"(t) -- no, baby speak, don't go!

Hoo-Wee, It Is Cold Today!

Had to get out Harrison's cute tie-on winter hat. :) I did try for gloves but was denied.
