Mama and Dada took advantage of the July 4th holiday to go see Maine for the first time! The boys went to Dalton to babysit Grandmama and Grandaddy and Sparky while their parents drove and drove and drove across 4 states in 4 days (not a trip that little fellas would appreciate...). We've heard several stories from both generations but still haven't figured out how to reconcile the similar yet different versions. :) Let's let the pictures tell us what they know...
Did some driving -- probably through Kroger since I spy some milk in the cart. Hewitt helped Harrison on the sharp turns, and Harrison kept a running conversation with another trucker on the CB radio.
Got called in for a police line up. Note to Hewitt : Do not wear a shirt that says "My middle name is Trouble" next time. Or maybe this is snacktime at the playground.
Caught a fish!! Harrison just swooped his net down in there and came up with a big one!
Rinsed off after all the fishing. Boy-parts cropped... :)
Tackled poor Sparky. I bet little Sparkster got taken down every 10 minutes while Hewitt was awake.
Watched the rain while they dined and made plans for the next day!Thank you to Grandmama and Grandaddy for the good times and to Grandmama, in particular, for the pictures!
