The boys got balance bikes (two-wheeled bicycles without pedals) for their birthdays this year. Once they were in Dada's possession, he could not resist assembling them and giving them early. :)

They were both pretty hesitant at first (neither would lift both feet off the ground at the same time), but the next morning, Harrison came into our room and asked if he could go downstairs to practice on his new bike (which was in the playroom on the bottom floor of the house -- not outside). An hour (!) later, we realize that we had gone back to sleep and not heard from Harrison! We hustle downstairs to check on him (concussion??) and find him happily gliding around on his bike -- pretty much in control of the balance aspect and now going from one of the room to the other without touching his feet down. :)
